The wage gap doesn’t refer to different jobs. It means a man and a women doing the exact same job but the man makes more simply for being a man. #TheMoreYouKnow

This mentality is so sad and sickening. I could NEVER put myself underneath a man, especially if I'm a nurse.
-
never said he was underneath me. this was stating he deserves the higher pay he gets. but you all will always got some shit to say

Has it been proven wrong by economists? http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/jan/29/barack-obama/barack-obama-state-union-says-women-make-77-cents-/ … No. As a whole, examining the total earnings of all women and men working full time jobs, women make 77 cents on the dollar compared to men. explainable because it doesn't account for specific jobs or circumstances (which is the actual debate you're thinking of) then you can. But looking at jobs as a whole, the stat also reflects the effect of things like the glass ceiling and women being less likely to be promoted

No one is complaining that men and women don't get equal pay in completely separate fields, this is a response to something no one is arguing

I agree with this, I do. But the wage gap and equal pay refers to men and women doing the SAME job. Not different ones. I agree with what you’ve said, it just wasn’t an accurate statement on the matter.

But that’s not a thing
