to be fair, I think they succeeded in canceling sex ed. Sadly the only "sex ed" that exists for most kids is porn. (And just to clarify: Porn is not sex ed. Porn was never intended to be sex ed)

As a Gen Xer the problem is not with 'cancel culture' it's always been there. It's really about social media & the noise that it creates. Add to that news sources that know that anything 'cancel culture' related will trigger a shit ton of clicks and make money for them.

I had a friend in grade school that wasn't invited to a classmate's party because her parents were divorced. The Boomers started cancel culture, let them deal.

Did they though? It was around long before them. Remember, Boomers took credit for Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll...all of which preceded them.
