    Great job !!! How are we discussing in our classroom, school and community? SARS had a massive impact on Asian communities. I worked at McCowan & Steeles for Parks & Rec and Alton Towers were under quarantine. We had a massive community celebration

    Speaking to a staff today and had to view the unsolved homicides site. I felt like I got hit by a truck by the over representation of young black males as I scrolled down. Still feel sick. Can’t imagine the trauma faced by family/friends.

    This is why we fight against Ford's cuts to public health. Our public health agencies provide our communities with the safeguards and resources to respond and track outbreaks like the . The cuts that Ford has already made can & will have deadly consequences.

    Seeing how this government has been handling education...I have zero trust in how they are going to handle ... glad we have amazing scientists/medical professionals who already do good work despite the government. Just like amazing educators doing good work.

    You used & published copyrighted materials + did not respect Indigenous intellectual property rights. Several areas are problematic. Ur site & the teacher also used & profited from it. Being 'inspired' does not give you permission.

    It’s so hard to hear some of the lived realities of students. Today one said he can make more money in jail than out of jail due to lack of opportunities / good paying jobs. How can we address this? Easier said than done P.S. who knew a lighter in jail is worth $200?!?

    In education we have so many who are the gatekeepers of success who don’t have the same lived experiences as those students being sifted and sorted along their education. It isn’t the students’ “growth mindset”, “grit” or “poverty mindset” that needs to be “fixed”

    I'm sincerely asking. I've struggled to engage adults who are infatuated with the idea that youth experiencing poverty--esp. SoC experiencing poverty--just need "resilience." I know it's a deficit view, but there's a sense of do-gooderness around it, too, that is super-thick.
