I cannot explain how bad this storm was. It ripped giant oaks from the ground, destroyed at least 50% of the electrical grid, threw shipping containers across the interstate. The city is crushed. Pictured is the oak from my yard. Some of the roots are 2’ wide. #SWLAStrongpic.twitter.com/dbsO5WH2bt
Went last Saturday to help my BIL grandparents deck and tarp their roof, Its complete devastation. Nearly every tree of a decent size has been "topped" or uprooted.
