On the other hand, the right show up to vote in significantly higher percentages. Many are lost and feel politically homeless. This is why they end up in the shitty right factions. Why are we not courting these individuals? Most of them align with us well over 50% of the time 3/5

If the LP cannot see what there is to glean from this, then it is lost. What did we gain from the left? A bunch of people who don’t show up to the polls when it comes time. They did it to Bernie and they did it to Jo. The young left barely vote. Why waste the effort on them? 2/5

Me, being a big gun guy, I’m many circles with right types, many libertarian leaning. I literally watched the Jo campaign win them over immediately and then chase them off just as fast. These are good people, most of whom are single issue voters, and we still lost them. 1/5

What if each state gets the president that wins their vote? Think of how much less division there would be and how many more people would be happy with elections.

Maybe we libertarians can come together and realize we don’t have friends on the left. We can get along with center, right, independent, and everything in between, but the left are not our allies.

Communes are compatible with libertarianism; communism isn’t. Collectives are compatible; collectivism isn’t. Social programs (charities) are compatible; socialism isn’t.

Since everyone gets stuck on this left/right crap with libertarians (which makes no sense), I propose a new method: we have a spectrum running from pragmatist to anarchist. This follows the logical forms of libertarianism more closely.
