Perhaps "small number of academic staff are reticent and have intimated their intention not to teach on campus” needs to speak up to show that it is most, not a small number. #McGill200 admin seems willing to blow up McGill rather than actually talk.

so staff cannot refuse unsafe work? how is this legal? Is student attendance mandatory? I had generous absence policies and accommodations for my students when I taught during 2,and 3rd wave last year, before vax

A caring employer.... Next, they'll send campus police to escort the "small number" of reticent faculty to classes.... I want to teach in person, and a vaccine mandate, distancing, & good ventilation would make it more likely that we can finish the semester

Why are they so aggressive about this? Either remote learning is a good thing or it's not. How was remote learning sooooo awesome until... now? I'm honestly really surprised faculty across all universities pulling this haven't had a mass walk out. The disrespect is mind-blowing.

I’m an undergraduate student at McGill and this is insane, the level of disregard for staff, their families and students alike is practically sociopathic. Full support to any actions staff want to take against this.
