    In San Jose (median home: $1.1M) teachers are commuting 4 hours a day and 1 in 7 teachers quit each year. The school district wants to build housing for the teachers. Naturally 5,000 locals signed a petition against it because it might lower home values

    The most common thing I've seen in startups is founders working on projects endlessly for months, sometimes years, without traction. And then burning out. If you don't see traction in the first month after launching a project, I think you'll probably never. So, move on.

    💡 Know when to quit: "people who don’t quit often continue with worthless tasks that are both uninteresting and unrewarding, ultimately wasting their time and talents"

    Most favorite tool EVER 😍

    3 YEARS AGO (!!!) I shipped Carrd's alpha and emailed some friends to give it a go - Name wasn't final b/c I hadn't secured the .com so it went by a codename - No drag & drop (hadn't figured this out yet) - 3 elements (vs. 16 today) - 31,069 lines of code (vs. 131,972 today)
