+ It was great to see some initial interest and to meet with 2 new clients who redeemed CNSL + Uniswap’s price curve means that the CNSL price rose rapidly (this is both good and bad) + Managing liquidity and redemptions is a manual process + Watch this space :)

Makes me wonder about the tax implications. If I buy CNSL at a price of $100 and redeem it when the market price is $200, would the authorities view that as a capital gain?

Great question, no clear answer. I'd argue that redemption is an exercise of an existing right, not a disposal of property. If you pay a lawyer a retainer, and later they raise their hourly rate, but agree to honor the old rate for existing clients, do you have a taxable gain?
