I read somewhere that some residences are 'unknown' for patients (for whatever reason) so they use the hospital zip code in that instance which is skewing the numbers of some zip codes. could these be the case?

That is correct. No hospital in Peoria ZIP. Banner Baywood in NE corner of Mesa ZIP. My late mother-in-law lived at assisted living residence nearby. Packed w nursing homes.

What would be very meaningful would be number of tests by zip (probably impossible- are they even capturing data on negative tests?) I suspect that PV has a high per capita case count because they also have a high test rate (rich people). If that is true, it is an ominous sign.

I agree. We don't have negative or total test number. Even though labs provide data on total tests statewide
