- Data led decisions don’t always work.
- They’re still decisions someone has to make & stand behind.
- Playing to win is (generally) a better strategy than trying not to lose.
- Thinking of “worst case”, not just “best case”, can help close decisions.

the thing about Reels that really strikes me is that I *do* get hooked on swiping through it when I open the app. I *do* spend more time doing that than I used to spend looking at friends' content. But I still open the app hoping to see content from my friends.

I’m all for expanding definitions of philanthropy, including skills and time donated, and finding ways to include BIPOC communities and other ways of giving in the conversation. We must. But the reality is for most orgs is that $ is most needed so remains most in focus.
