      1. I am extremely dismayed by atrocious @MTA process regarding proposed new F-express service. http://web.mta.info/nyct/service/F_Express.htm …

      2. It pits Brooklyn residents against each other, creating “winners” and “losers” without sufficient information or dialogue.

      3. We made clear we could only support skipping local stops (as part of F express service) if overall service were increased on the F line.

      4. The @MTA promised to share info before making a decision, incl. what service increase would be necc to prevent diminished local service.

      5. Instead, the @MTA blindsided us, announcing a decision in the newspaper, before providing any information.

      6. Obviously, the @MTA F-express proposal has “winners” in Southern Bklyn, and at Church Avenue & 7th Avenue in my district.

      7. But it would increase commute times for riders at Ft. Hamilton, 15th St, 4th Ave (my family’s stop), Smith/9th, Carroll St & Bergen St.

          8. And the @MTA also admits: “There would also be increased stair crowding at … local stations due to larger PM exit surges.” Ugh.

          9. Let’s remember that F-train service is already unreliable, overcrowded, and sub-par.

They're also closing Prospect R for renovations. https://www.governor.ny.gov/sites/governor.ny.gov/files/atoms/files/MTAStations.pdf … Can't also cut back on trains to 4th Ave at same time!
