London has congestion charge for 15 years or so and that has not solved their traffic problems. This is just another burden on already one of the highest taxed state n city http://residents.Tube system in London is better but less than half revenue is invested in it.
Good look at congestion pricing from @emmagf. While of course it won’t entirely solve our subway or congestion problems, it’s clearly the thing we can do to make a big difference on both. Let’s keep building the pressure to get it done.https://nyti.ms/2pQadm3

With debt service payments set to rise within the next four years by nearly as much as congestion pricing would bring in, how do you figure it would improve the subway?

I think it’s worth doing just as a way of reducing VMT, but does seem like a big band aid
