I think there are some good points in there about flat design's limitations, but none of that has to do with responsive design.
"As websites became responsive, they became a mess of flat colors." http://www.elischiff.com/blog/2015/4/21/fall-of-the-designer-part-iii-responsive-design … The hell did I just read?

@brad_frost I was deliberate to say responsive was inappropriately paired with minimalist design and it has much to offer on its own.0 retweets 0 likes - View other replies

@eli_schiff I feel you're conflating two issues, and as a result implying responsive design is responsible for poorly executed flat design.0 retweets 3 likes -
@brad_frost Funny thing is I actually ventured to say the opposite: that responsive design was a false justification for imposing flatness.0 retweets 1 like -

Robert Penner @robpenner@MattRix@flyosity Victor didn't advocate "code first".@eli_schiff completely missed the point of the article. It's all about design first.0 retweets 0 likes - View other replies

@kyle_conrad There seem to be some good points in there about flat design. But none of that is related to responsive design.0 retweets 0 likes -
@brad_frost agreed - it seems like he's equating the two, instead of separating out the different pieces.0 retweets 1 like - View other replies

@brad_frost I also don't like the idea that "oh there's only TWO design philosophies" out there kind of thing.0 retweets 2 likes
