    Don't try to create a design system “from scratch” by willy-nilly gathering patterns that you might, maybe, possibly, who-knows need. Instead gather solved problems from existing products—demonstrably useful patterns.

    The main reason I'm sharing this now is because I got a bunch of questions about selling design systems, designer/developer collaboration on design systems, and maintaining/governing design systems. It's all in the book, friends.
