I worked 20 years without a promotion as well. Got my first significant one this year. Now I am in a position to make it happen for others and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of the change.
I'm hitting 20 years now and in the same position. Everything up to now has been a gradual shift through making my own changes.
I'm mostly self taught and have adhd so that might also have something to do with it...
