It's not all about Hamedi's kick. Ganjzadeh was moving into the kick when it was being delivered. This is the type of subjective refereeing that makes competitive sports very questionable about intent. Hamedi won.

There is no bad intention in this sport. In the end, this is a game, despite some Iranian media, who took the issue racist. In the end, most analysts and experts agreed that the final blow does not unite any intentionality.

All you have to do is lay down longer after getting tagged. This might get them to confer if kick was too forceful.๐Ÿ˜‚I don't know how u accept a GOLD like that. The world saw you got knocked out. If it was me, I would graciously give my gold to Hamedi at the podium.

A travesty of a call Hamedi did not deserve to be disqualified. Clearly his opponent moved into the kick as well causing it to have more impact. Hamedi deserves the gold medal and I find it somewhat disgraceful the former gold winner even accepted the medal.

Great round kick. His opponent was also stepping into the kick, thus the KO. That nice controlled kick should not be grounds for disqualifying him. This is why we used to attend full contact contests with Bill McDonalds Competition Team, as long as they were controlled.

Uhโ€ฆ. What? I donโ€™t see excessive force hereโ€ฆ. Not a punishing blowโ€ฆ. he moved into it. Beautifully delivered kick. What would you have him do? If this is the case ban head kicks.
