I think this about Alt-tabbing through open apps/programs every time I see someone mousing down over the task bar and clicking icons to change back and forth constantly.

also if you're using alt-tab, alt-shift-tab will move backwards through the list. In fact, in many systems, once the alt-tab menu is open, you can use the arrow keys to move through it.
-
And you can do something similar with browser tabs. Ctrl-tab vs ctrl-shift-tab, I think? May vary by browser.

I was about to leave a similar comment. My mouse PS/2 port died some day when I was a teen and I had to use only the keyboard for.. i don't remember how long, until a neighbour could finally fix it with a PS/2 card.

And space, shift+space scrolls a web-page up and down by one screen height.

I knew space to scroll by screen. I knew the Shift pattern and why shift+space should work. But I would have never thought to try it until now. Thanks!

The thing that blew my world wide open was discovering you can use Windows Key + Left/Right Cursor to snap a window to one half of your monitor, if you're using more than one monitor.
