    Once it starts recommending things I don't know so well, its much harder to judge the quality, and it's easy to assume that the fake or misleading article surrounded by high quality articles will also be high quality.

    Those examples are completely harmless - I know enough about the subjects to recognise gossip, rumors or fake articles - but this happens on all subjects.

    Today's innocent example is LEGO - I like it and read articles about it, but the top of my feed this morning was speculation on future models. The most annoying ones are spoilers for my favourite TV shows or movies, which I really don't want to see.

    I've been using Google Now for news for the last couple months, and it's really highlighting the problems with algorithmic recommendations. Articles are selected based on subject, not quality - it'll work out I like something and then show me rumors and gossip instead of news.

    A good test to see whether your team has become addicted to chat is watch how they react to an outage of the system they’re using. If it’s any more than a shoulder shrug, you got a problem. Time to scale back and find better, more resilient ways of working.

    I've always been a DM. While I do like playing, I love DMing. To me, it's what makes the hobby so much fun. If I had a choice I'd always opt to DM over playing.

    I want something where I can write "2d6 damage vs [10hp, 9hp, 4hp]" or "1d20+5 vs 18AC, rolling 1d6+4 on hit or 2d6+4 on a natural 20". Though probably with some shorthand as that would get pretty verbose.
