    this story is a good reminder that animal advocacy is not about being a “voice for the voiceless.” anyone who spends any time at all with animals knows that they have voices. animal advocacy is about listening to and amplifying their voices for others.

    Neurodiversity = neurological diversity. It does not mean one single neurodivergence. The term has enjoyed massive popularity with one, maybe two neurodivergences, so we either need more specific terminology, or the conversation needs to become far more inclusive 7/7
