Allow me to provide a real-world analogy: Drug testing of employees became a thing in this country because insurance brokers told business owners and executives they could receive discounts in health insurance costs if they could show their employee base was drug-free.

There were discounts for smoking cessation programs as well. Behavioral econ aside, it violated the civil liberties of employees. See where I'm going? If you think insurance companies and employers would not want to get a hold of DNA data on their employee pool, think again.
