This, but please also do not devalue the talent and hard work of people who sell their art and ask for free art when they are not offering it. Art by others that is worth owning is worth paying for.
Absolutely! Although that was not what I took the post to mean. To me the most important part was that talented or not, you shouldn't have to turn every activity or hobby into a marketable "side hustle". But of course support the artist's that are trying to do that.

The percentage of people who are able to make money off their art, let alone support themselves doing only that is ridiculously small. Make something beautiful, breathtaking, or terrifying without concern for the money. The world will always be better for having your art in it.
