When the propagation of the message contributes to the overall reach & effect, I think it’s responsible to not spread it overtly. Offering the info for us to reference it ourselves VERY easily but not directly linking is *incredibly* common & justly so among responsible writers

I hear you. I feel they could more "responsible". I also feel it hurts their credibility and makes them look extremely untruthfully biased by not sourcing the material they're critiquing.

You have a fair point about the type of person that makes it to the end of a longer thread, tho. Still, if it’s good practice, you follow it with few exceptions.
