    Happy to share the results of mine and work with ! During last 6 months we've made a proof of concept that using reinforcement learning it is possible to learn humanoid to run in under 2 minutes on a single GTX1070 GPU. We believe that it can be done in seconds.

    Train rolling through Maeklong Railway Market, Bangkok. Six times a day the market adjusts itself and encapsulates the train as it passes. Awnings are pulled back, fruit and vegetable baskets shifted just enough not to be sliced by the wheels.

    Finally after 3 days of chasing one edge case I got it all working. Using a sort of cellular automata to generate LODs to feed greedy voxel meshing. The results are pretty satisfying so I expect a huge performance gain and new gifs in 2020 :D

    - you'll kill me, I know. But on this engine I've got 220 FPS in editor without optimization 😅🔥 Compute shaders talks to each other through buffers, while boxes are procedurally instanced. Almost no CPU overhead.

    This is a (new?) type of noise that IS an SDF itself - it can be raymarched exactly without artifacts or small step sizes. It uses a grid of spheres of random sizes. You can combine different octaves with (smooth)minimum so FBM structures remain an SDF

    I am not that good at drawing. Most of the times I imagine stuff and then I write a generator for it. Lots of things inspire me. But sometimes I rely on someone else's concepts. This is my daughter's drawing from two years ago.
