I’m not saying that it’s not important to balance the needs of corporate America with the health of the public, I’m just saying that it’s not the CDC’s job to do that.

In case this wasn’t obvious to you all, the CDC’s new recommendation to shorten the quarantine period from 10 to 5 days is a business decision, not a public health decision.

The CDC was pressed by big biz to shorten it. But a couple of doctors I know still suggest 10 days.
