From now you wouldn’t be able to be playing dating sims and visual novels if they have ... big ... artstyle ... Same thing happened to some league youtubers who had low-key censored league hentai for thumbs or showing in vids

If you are a parent that thinks YouTube should be a completely safe place for your child, or rather there shouldn’t be any videos that may not be safe for them, then you should monitor them because others enjoy that content. Content is subjective and nobody should receive strikes

Youtube is making the website kid-friendly, TV-alike and safe to be watched by everyone whether you like it or not

Let's get serious here for a moment, YouTube shouldn't have to be kid friendly, people should be able to have common sense and know, that a 12 and under year old minor should have no business being on YouTube. Furthermore, their system is corrupt and biased. 1/3

You're able to post vids about CoD, GTA, and saints row, where you kill other people virtually, hire prostitutes, go to strip clubs, and even work as a mob boss, but a mere Anime VN? Nope, that's NSFW, not allowed on our platform! 2/3

This is not even mentioning the fact that there are straight up porn videos on the platform, some of which not even age restricted for these kids to potentially wander into and view. Yes, people need to have more self restraint, but that's on the viewers, not the creators. 3/3

I’m not saying that the website should be kid friendly, I’m saying that they’ve making it kid-friendly for theblast 1-2 years amd that’s why LP got striked for something that’s actually inappropriate. Also GTA5 used to get insta demonetized and each vid had to be reviewed

I do get it from youtube’s POV too tho, they want to be clean, attract sponsors and be a “safe place”. Also NSFW has been against tge rules for ages on YT, they’re just starting to enforce it nowadays ... YT’s been losing money for years, ofc they want to try and be “friendly”

It’s their website so they’re more than welcomed to censor it and forbid whatever even if it’s dirty (like when they censored Trump videos and allowed Hillary ones). The only thing that annoys me is that there’s no set rules and people get hit randomly

If there was a rule saying “no anime panties”, you’d know not to upload that. Same with shit like racist joke vines that are still up on the website but some people get striked for reacting to them, but there is literally no set rules and some people get away with it, some dont

Same as the fortnite idiots. One guy clickbaited saying he’s giving away free battle pass (10$ item that’s UNgiftable) to EACH subscriber and had 60k kids viewers asking in his chat when do they get it for free. Reported to youtube as misleading content, they didn’t do shit.
