@jsalsman Electricity is the #3 or #2 energy source in all sectors. We have about 2.5 million miles of gas pipes and 100+ million oil/gas furnaces or boilers. Those assets represent literally trillions of dollars of potentially stranded assets. Electrification will take time.pic.twitter.com/k3fIl18WYr

@jsalsman In my state, New York, GHG emissions from electricity are less than the emissions from point-of-use fossil fuel burning in any of the residential, commercial, or transportation sectors. Only the industrial sector produces fewer emissions than the electric sector.pic.twitter.com/pcF4F0GBYV
