At 2:38, you slip and say that a Gigawatt is a "million" Megawatts. I know you know that it is only a thousand Megawatts. You might want to edit the vocal track... You do a good job of explaining the problem. Do you have solutions to propose? How would YOU make a Gigawatt down?
Thanks! Actually, check the tape. I say it's a million kilowatts. Which it is. You might have been expecting a MW comparison, so you heard MW. This happens a lot.
One thing I do want to change is the nomenclature. I'm using GWe for "gigawatt equivalent end use delivered". It's been pointed out that GWe usually stands for GW electric, as distinct from thermal. I'm thinking of going with GWi - GW installed and GWd - GW delivered. GW down!
