Considering that MRAP stands for "Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected," the answer is "Nothing." US troops suffered serious physical/mental wounds when IEDs blew up HumVees. DoD paid to have MRAP vehicles manufactured. The surplus was offered to municipal police and county sheriffs.
