I've seen so many 'environmentalist groups' demonizing AMI meters and TOU rate schedules.I feel they're too busy protecting solar and not seeing the forest beyond the trees?
Utilities happily install AMI since it reduces expenses, from which they don't profit, and increases capital investment, which is their only allowed source of profit.
