Today, the New York PSC ordered utilities to achieve 3.6TBTU (trillion BTU) energy savings via heat pump installations before 2025 and allocated $400+ million to fund the program (10's of thousands of installations.) Also, they allocated $30 million to LMI heat pump programs.
