Remember, State Law prevents gas utilities from making money on anything other than return on equity invested in gas assets. Also, law declares that gas expansion is "in the public interest" and requires gas utilities to give 100 ft free hookups to anyone who demands it.

It’s time for a state law that ends the 100ft free hookup. If anyone wants a new gas connection in 2020 they should be asked to pay the full install cost.
