Do you know any effort(s) underway to end the lengthy cost recovery models currently in place for gas mains and individual buildings hookups? This seems like an area overdue for change.
We should have stopped installing new gas mains in 1965 in order to avoid stranded gas assets in 2050! New York gas utilities recover the cost of their mains over 85 years. But, the CLCPA says we need to dramatically reduce CO2 emissions by 2050. (2050 - 85 = 1965)
