It would be all new pipes and radiators, right? Plumbing always seems shockingly expensive.

I'd love to hear the engineering ideas... District heating/cooling, geothermal, mini-splits galore?

We must find cheaper ways to replace steam. Since we must, we will. Today's mini-splits and console units are possible but have issues. District heating won't help unless it is steam, but that would be too expensive due to need for large pipes. Need research and innovation.
