This country was founded on the ideas of justice, of liberty, of the pursuit of happiness. But these core beliefs are under threat. Each and every day. We are under threat by an administration that would rather cage children than pass comprehensive immigration reform.
At @Netroots_Nation on Saturday, @IlhanMN answered my question by saying that as a refugee, she loved America more than most people who grew up here. But, with that love comes disappointment that America today is not living up to the ideals on which this country was founded.
