Total CO2 emissions from NYC buildings have dropped 21% since 2005. Emissions from oil are down 53%, electricity's are down 45% and steam's are down 58%. However, Natural Gas emissions have risen 35% since 2005.

We cannot achieve either New York States' or New York City's carbon reduction goals without significantly reducing the use of natural gas in buildings before 2050. Stop gas expansion now.
