      Nope. Nope. A million times nope. Capital disparity is a natural consequence of under-regulated capitalism. Rich people are not evil. They’re just people with more capital, and they behave just like anyone with more capital would.

      Charity existed long before socialism. Socialism is about who owns the means of production. Both capitalists and socialists are able to work for social progress, equity, justice, etc. without compromising their principles. Socialism has no monopoly over good works or being good.

      Ah, but sharing the wealth with the poor is far more common in less capitalist societies. Capitalism does not encourage empathy, compassion, or looking out for other people. Personally, I believe that’s one of the major reasons trickle down economics, no matter how many times

      the Republican Party tried to revamp it. There is no incentivizing goodwill, and the people at the top have no reason to allow money to flow down to us when they could just keep it for themselves.

      Hmm... You seem to have bought into the Republican lie that wealth trickles down. The reality is that wealth bubbles up. It is only accumulated "at the top," but not created there. The reason "trickle down" policies fail is that they flow from a flawed understanding of economics.
