Lazard's annual LCOE analysis is really cost of "electricity" not "energy." A true "cost of energy" study would address cost of energy for transportation and heating. Electric Vehicles and Heat Pumps are cheaper than fossil fueled alternatives.

Actually a true cost of energy must include the human costs including the never ending oil wars and such atrocities. I would say that’s not even quantifiable.
