Gas is only "cheaper" if you ignore the true cost. I regularly see gas expansion programs whose cost is over $30,000 per house in hidden rate base cost. But, Dandelion will install GHP for about $20,000 before 30% Federal tax credit. GHP is often much cheaper than gas.
