I find that I am very seldom reading op-ed articles anymore. No particular reason. They just don't seem to resonate, even those by columnists I like. The scale of our problems are so huge today that mere commentary seems lame.

I also feel numb by the lack of outrage to the daily trampling of democracy, the rule of law, and the norms of civilized society.
If it helps, please know that I am totally outraged. I am also quite confident that I am not alone. A new "Silent Majority" is slowly forming. We will soon have our voices heard.
