I find that I am very seldom reading op-ed articles anymore. No particular reason. They just don't seem to resonate, even those by columnists I like. The scale of our problems are so huge today that mere commentary seems lame.

very well said. I'll go a step further and say I've become so disenchanted with the current trajectory that I'm bordering on apathy. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to vote in November but my expectations grow softer each day as the mounting insanity becomes normalized.

If it helps, please know that I am totally outraged. I am also quite confident that I am not alone. A new "Silent Majority" is slowly forming. We will soon have our voices heard.
