My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Most here will not look at the fact that Boudins father is 76 YO & has shown a good track record of remorse & redemption while spending 40 years in prison. He also did not personally kill anyone, he was in a transfer vehicle. People age out of crime & can change.

No the victims of whoever shot them r still dead. He wasn’t even on-site. I believe that punishment should be commensurate with the actions of the person. In this case, he was driving a get away car. He should have been punished but not as harshly as the 1 who pulled the trigger.

Defending someone who helped with murder is horrifying. Of course people can change, but they can’t bring people back to life so f’k em. Your empathy is misplaced.
