But even the media hating emails provide a lot of context and insight into the Mayor's views and how he runs the city.
The point of our lawsuit wasn’t to find out that the mayor hates the media; most mayors do. We wanted to learn more about the role of a prominent consultant in city government and how it affected decisions made by City Hall. It’s less sexy and a lot more important.

I would love to know more about his repeated requests to hold meetings in the office of a lobbyist than why he doesn’t like the New York Post or Bloomberg News.
