When the 1994 #crimebill landed on my lap, I took the opportunity to try & prevent more images like yummy's from being burned into our memories. I voted yes just like many of my colleagues including @BernieSanders because we didn't know the consequences at the time.
Robert "Yummy" Sandifer was an 11 yr old whose grisly murder was one of many that plagued our city and rocked our country. At the time, there were parents knocking down my door begging me to do something about the violence.pic.twitter.com/doWFARLQbX
