eventually, we're going to have to look back on this moment in 2, 5, 10 years and we're going to have to ask ourselves if we are proud or ashamed. did we practice social distancing? did we wear a mask? did we go out? did we value our need for "fun" above the health of others?

pretty early on, „in 5 years, what do you want to be able to tell yourself who you were?“ was a question in a zoom. i found it telling that nobody answered: „phew, i REALLY was productive and disciplined“, but rather kindness, reaching out and lessening others’ burdens made it.
