That's an odd thing to say. Like Picasso is incapable of painting garbage.
You either judge, in which it's garbage. Or you don't judge, in which case, why paint it?
One more thing... this is more of a Pollock than a Picasso.
I actually like how Picasso challenges structure and organization. He makes you focus on different aspects of things. He twists up your understanding.
However, Pollock tests your tolerance for trash in honor of the avant garde. ...or conversely, your willingness to challenge it.
I much prefer Picasso. Pollock lacking variety.
The thing that trips me up... it's very meta, but... IMO, the conversation that results from analysis of art is part of the art. So...even though I might say something is trash...the fact that we're talking about it is valuable.
