How web browsers should work: 1. User requests website A. 2. Website A says browser should also request sites B, C, D. 3. Browser asks user "Hey, do you want to load these, too?"

Never going to happen. If Tesla can't sell its cars without middlemen(dealership), how can you and me put onus on website to do the right thing?

I'm starting to feel like web browsers should only execute javascript hosted on the origin domain.

Yeah it would probably be too limiting, but some limit is necessary. Executing all included JS no matter the origin is a bad model. I'm sure a middle ground is possible. A list of approved domains or something.
