@boagworld @aral Sadly, this is the “wrong” expectation. Ignition locks on the steering column were always a hack.

@boagworld my brother removed a panel on our new keyless-start car looking for the keyhole. I maybe should have warned him :)

@boagworld That's why I always felt the SAAB design made better sense: you can see where to insert the key + no stress from weight of keys.
