    here’s a copy of an internal email google sent to its employees about firing kathryn. for context, kathryn said she wasn’t aware of these policies and google hasn’t yet pointed me to where these rules previously existed (i’ve asked)

    Just thinking about this site: . At the time it was, no joke, absolutely cutting edge web UI work and I remember looking at a lot of their code and reading their articles. This was well before Gmail. The tagline was true (“What you never thought possible!”)
