On Friday, I saw pediatric brain tumor and #NF patients in the morning, adult brain tumor patients in the afternoon, and ran an experiment in the evening to conclude a busy week. Taking a weekend breather, but wouldn't have it any other way. #physicianscientistlife #gratitude

Was exhausted this past wk & a family gave this to me as I dropped off an investigational med. Then I went to pick up my dry cleaning & a patient family (don’t know who!) somehow saw my ticket & paid for it. I feel so undeserving, but so #grateful to do what I do. #oncology #peds

Anecdotally speaking, many in pediatric heme/onc - including mid-career physicians - are leaving for more lucrative industry positions. Some join straight out of fellowship. This is a major reason why. #MedTwitter
