Did he give *any* reason for not offering to mail out ballot request forms to all 6.9M GA voters? This seems strange, b/c it *wasn't* mailed-in ballots that caused problems last week. It was the voting machines and lack of adequate polling locations/trained workers.

Exactly, I assume he thinks more people will turn out than last time making it even more difficult to cast their vote, therefore decreasing he votes cast....

Access to internet might be a problem. He may want to add staff for all of the people calling in when the website goes down due to traffic. Or when people need help walking through the process. Doing everything you can to make your job harder AND gumming up the works for voting.

That's how we do it in Illinois, and it works well enough. We get an automatic email reminder to request our ballot well out from the election. Assumes you have a computer and internet access, though. Assumes, in other words, wealth that not every voter has.
