Hi Keem - Confirming this isn't true. There may be other reasons why these videos get flagged. Our Ad-friendly Guidelines state that incendiary & demeaning content isn't allowed. So if videos appear like it's ridiculing another creator, it might get picked up as not safe for ads.

It’s nice to know that to youtubers, your slogan “broadcast yourself” has become “Broadcast yourself exactly how we tell you on our authoritarian platform, where honest criticism or opposing opinions are punishable by making sure you can’t pay rent.”

The problem is YouTube sought creators out making promises of an open platform that was monetized in order for them to use them and not other similar sites. Then once they overtook the competition they started screwing them over.

In some cases asking a creator to spend money promoting a video to maximize monetization and then demonetizing that same video after they paid to have it promoted. So now they paid to promote a video YouTube wanted them to promote and lose twice.

Then they need to make the rules clear and apply them evenly so creators know what is expected of them. They don’t which is why people are complaining
